Plenty of gaming tournament cash was given away in late March as winners shared $12,500 in cash prizes in the Spring Game-A-Thon and $1,500 in the monthly Blackjack Tournament.
25 different people shared the prize pool in the semi-annual Game-A-Thon. Shirley Cook (Gardnerville, NV) was the weekend's biggest winner - $3,100 in cash for finishing first in the Slot Tournament. Betty Jo Heaton (Carson City) came in second for $1,600, and Arlene Washington (Gardnerville, NV) was third for $1,000. Doug Grajeda (Fremont, CA) walked away with the $1,600 first prize in the Blackjack Tournament. John Washington (Gardnerville, NV) won $700 for second place and Steve Hu (Brisbane, CA) pocketed $400 for third.
Adrian Hutton (Carson City, NV) won the first place prize of $750 in the March $1,500 Blackjack Tournament. Robert Kohnert (Tell City, IN) came in second for $450 and David Bailey (Minden, NV) took the $300 third-place prize.
