It's a return to the simpler times – before computers and cell phones and Facebook – when Bobby Hendricks Drifters bring back the magical harmonies of the Doo Wop days in the Carson Valley Inn Valley Ballroom on Friday, January 25. Bobby Hendricks was the lead tenor for the Drifters in the late fifties as they sang the trend-setting songs of that era. While their biggest and most iconic hit was "Under the Boardwalk," they also had many other immediately recognizable hits such as "This Magic Moment", "Stand By Me", "There Goes My Baby", On Broadway", "Up On The Roof" and many, many more.
Bobby toured with the biggest stars of 1957 including, Paul Anka, The Diamonds, Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Fats Domino, The Big Bopper and more. He was inducted into the DOO WOP Hall Of Fame of America at Symphony Hall, in Boston on April 13, 2001. Today, Bobby Hendricks Drifters still offer a blend of tasteful music and class, wrapped up in their famous patented choreography.
