A major remodeling project in early 2012 gave Katie's a refreshing new look and feel! New décor, chairs, table tops, dining counter, tiling, hostess stand, wall coverings and carpeting combine for a modern yet comfortable atmosphere. A new and expanded cashier area includes a baked-goods display case highlighting cakes and other confectioneries made fresh daily in our bakery.

$5.99 Giant Hamsteak & Eggs
Katie's hearty daily signature special is a $5.99 Hamsteak and Eggs plate. The hamsteak is giant, your two eggs can be any style, and this "challenge-to-eat-it-all" breakfast also includes hash browns and toast – it's an overflowing plateful and an incredible value at just $5.99.
$4.99 Eggs Benedict Saturdays
On Saturdays through June, Katie’s is offering an Eggs Benedict special for just $4.99 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. This traditional favorite includes toasted English muffin, grilled Canadian bacon, two poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce and hash brown.
Loaded Pancakes
There's a $4.99 "Loaded Pancakes" special in Katie's every day from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Three large pancakes are topped and cooked with the item of the day, then stacked and served with maple syrup and whipped butter!
Soup and Half Sandwich Special
Katie’s has two house-made soups each day and there is a daily soup and half sandwich special from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $4.99.
Katie's Dinner Specials Through June
Katie's, the Carson Valley Inn's 24-hour restaurant, features a different high-value dinner special each night from 2 to 10 p.m.
- Mondays in Katie's, enjoy a Beef Enchilada & Two Chicken Tacos with refried beans, Spanish rice and salsa for $5.99.
- Tuesday night's special is a Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Breast Plate with steamed rice and vegetable for $5.99.
- The Wednesday special is a Meatloaf Plate with mushroom gravy and vegetable for $6.99.
- Thursdays, Katie's serves a Roast Turkey Breast Plate with mashed potatoes, giblet gravy and stuffing for $6.99.
- Katie's complete Prime Rib Dinner every Friday and Saturday night for $9.99 includes a half-pound of slow-roasted prime rib of beef with au jus, twice-baked potato, creamed horseradish sauce and choice of soup or salad. This special is also available in a ¾-pound cut for $12.99 and a full pound cut for $15.99.
- Katie's Sunday special is "The Chandler" Chicken Dinner including southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cole slaw for $5.99.

A tasty selection of confectioneries including cakes, pies, cookies, cupcakes, brownies and other pastries are made fresh daily in our bakery and sold right from the display case at the entrance to Katie's! You can take home and enjoy any of our Bakery’s amazing cakes and pies (click for menu) or treat yourself to just a slice. Katie’also makes cakes and pies for special occasions and weddings. Mondays in Katie's, all baked goods are fifty percent off when you purchase with your INN Club points!
