SECURITY OFFICER

Description: Assists with guest safety and service.  Assists various departments with operational matters. Excellent customer service skills required
Requirements: Previous experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years old. Gaming Card required.
Shift: Full time/varied shifts. Ideal for mature person with flexible schedule. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

CVI - Food and Beverage

COOK - KATIE'S

Description: Responsible for food preparation for Katie’s, our high-volume, 24 hour restaurant. Prepare food items per ticket order as required and to current menu specifications for guests of Katie’s
Requirements: Possess and maintains culinary tools to perform the necessary job functions. Previous high volume hotel restaurant/casino or in individual restaurants experience preferred. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or more. Team player.  Work well under pressure.
Shift: Varied shifts, full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required. 

 

COOK – CV STEAK

Description: Responsible for preparing superior food quality and service in a high volume steak house.
Requirements: Must be able to read, speak, understand and write English. Previous Hotel/Casino steakhouse/fine dining experience preferred.  High school graduate or G.E.D., culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate. Possess and maintains culinary tools to perform the necessary job functions. Able to work at a high rate of speed and accuracy. Must be able to maintain a positive, helpful, smiling attitude at all times. Able to lift 50 plus pounds on occasion.
Shift: Swing shift, full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

SERVER ASSISTANT –KATIE’S

Description: Assist food servers in Katie’s Restaurant. 
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills required.
Shift: Part-time/Swing shift. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

SERVER – KATIE’S

Description: Responsible for selling and serving food and beverages to guests. 
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills required. Over 1 year previous food serving experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years old.
Shift: Part-time/Swing shift. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

HOST/CASHIER – KATIE’S

Description: Promptly and courteously greet and seat guests. Perform cashier duties for departing guests. 
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills required. Previous experience preferred. Must be good in public areas working with guests.
Shift: Day shift, part-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

DISHWASHER

Description: Cleaning of company china, silverware and pots and pans according to industry standards and health/sanitation codes.  Sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage.
Requirements: Team player, self motivated. Able to lift 50 pounds. Bilingual a plus.
Shift: Varied shifts/full-time. Weekend and holiday work required.

 

CVI - Hotel

GUEST ROOM ATTENDANT

Description: Clean hotel/motor lodge guest rooms. Duties include making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms.
Requirements: Heavy lifting required. Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
Shift: Day shift/Seasonal/part-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

HEAVY DUTY CLEANER/HOUSEMAN

Description: Stocks and maintains linen on GRA carts throughout the day. Take soiled linens to laundry and returns clean linens to storage areas. Empties soiled linens and glasses collected from GRA carts. Maintain public areas, shampoo carpets, stock storage rooms and maintain cleanliness of pool areas and hallways. Responsible for Houseman duties. 
Requirements: Heavy lifting required. Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license and clear driving record. Have good communication and customer service skills. Experience in cleaning and operation of carpet extractors experience preferred.  Must be detailed oriented.
Shift: Day shift/full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

LAUNDRY ATTENDANT/HOUSEMAN

Description: To assist the laundry department and make deliveries. Assist guests, check pool area and common areas. Deliver and fold linens. Clean common areas and deliver refrigerators, microwaves etc.
Requirements: Heavy lifting required. Lift, push and bend for the entire shift. Prior laundry and/or housekeeping experience preferred. Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license and clear driving record. Have good communication and customer service skills. Need to be a multi-tasker. Must be productive and reliable.
Shift: Swing shift/Seasonal. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

CVI - Casino

GUEST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Description: Duties include guest services for the casino including cashiering and Player club activities.
Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old. Previous cash handling or Cage experience is preferred.  Excellent guest service skills and gaming card required.
Shift: Varied shifts/Full time. Average hours per week are 30-35 hours. Must be flexible in scheduling. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

SLOT TECH

Description: Maintain and repair, reel and video slot machines, vending and change validators.
Requirements: Ability to understand written and oral instructions. Be proficient in basic troubleshooting. Diagnose malfunctions and perform needed repairs. Retooling – modifying and fabrication of a machine part. Maintain, repair and relocate when necessary. Excellent customer service skills. Previous slot tech experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years old.  Gaming card required.
Shift: Full time, Swing shift. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

SLOT FLOOR PERSON (21)

Description: Serves drinks to players, fixes slots machines, pays out Jackpots.       
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills. Previous slot experience preferred. Money handling. Must be at least 21 years old.  Gaming card required.
Shift: One Position is Full time, flexible to work all shifts. One Position is Full time, Graveyard shift. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

Sharkey's Casino

COOK - Sharkey's
