The Golf Club at Genoa Lakes offers 36 championship holes on two semi-private courses just 10 - 15 minutes from the Carson Valley Inn:
- The Lakes Course is a Peter Jacobson/John Harbottle design with the Carson River and wetlands ponds providing lush greenery and attractive of water elements.

The Ranch Course (previously the Resort Course), at the foot of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, is a Johnny Miller/John Harbottle design.
