I understand that this is an employment application and that no contract for my employment is being offered. If I am employed by Carson Valley Inn, I understand that I will be an “at-will” employee. As such, I will be employed for an indefinite period of time. I further understand that my employment does not constitute a contractual relationship, either expressed or implied of any kind, and that either I or Carson Valley Inn may terminate my employment for any reason, no reason, at any time.
Pre-Employment Drug Testing
Carson Valley Inn has a vital interest in maintaining a safe, healthy and effective environment for our employees and guests. This environment is jeopardized by employees who use and abuse illegal drugs and alcohol.
Carson Valley Inn conducts pre-employment drug testing to detect eh use of illegal drugs during the approximate previous 90-day period. The test is given as soon as possible after an offer of employment has been made. Any attempt to falsify or interfere with the test, including adding adulterants to urine or diluting urine, will lead to withdrawal of an offer of employment. Moreover, Carson Valley Inn may deem a diluted urine sample, or urine containing adulterant substance to be a positive drug testing result.
The applicant may not work until a negative test result obtained.
The presence of illegal drugs in an applicant in any detectable amount, or inability or refusal to provide a suitable drug test sample, will result in a withdrawal of any offer of employment.
